About Me
Mechanical Engineer | Product Development Engineer
I’m Adam Giordani, a mechanical engineer, product designer, and visual storyteller with a passion for turning ideas into reality. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), where I honed my technical skills in CAD, design for manufacturability, and product development, while also discovering how creativity and engineering can come together to create truly compelling products.
Currently, I work as a Product Development Engineer in the eyewear industry, designing and developing consumer products from initial concept sketches to finished, manufacturable designs. I am SolidWorks CSWA certified, with hands-on experience in 3D modeling, prototyping, and technical problem-solving. I approach every project with the belief that precision engineering and creative design are inseparable—whether I’m refining a lens fit, optimizing a frame structure, or capturing the product through photography and visual storytelling.
Outside of engineering, I enjoy activities that challenge me and keep me active, including fishing, golf, fitness, and outdoor exploration. I also spend a lot of time on hobby 3D printing, experimenting with new designs and bringing creative ideas to life. These pursuits fuel my curiosity, sharpen my problem-solving skills, and inspire fresh approaches in my professional work. For me, growth, exploration, and hands-on creativity are central to everything I do, guiding the way I approach both technical challenges and personal projects.
